The approach to a B2B buyer is different in some ways from B2C, but it’s the same in many more ways, and within that is the answer to your lead generation and sales challenges
Sure, there’s a process a B2B buyer goes through, more so than B2C. More hurdles to jump before a purchase is made. For both, the steeper the price, the higher the hurdle.
The psychology of the sale, the positioning, the offer, the close all follow the same process. Whatever your product, whatever your price, there’s a proven process that get’s attention.
If you’re still sending people direct to your website from adverts, you’re getting it wrong. If you are not segmenting your offer and your list, that too, is wrong.
And if your copy is not strong enough to break through the email ‘white noise’ and get noticed, that’s a problem too.
The sales process is made up of a funnel. Always has been, always will.
- You need a high quality list of prospects and to understand the value in the list.
- You need to create a reason for your prospects to read the email you send, to give it more attention, to react to it. to act.
- You need to keep them focused on the click, then when they click, maintain that focus until you get what you want. A click, a call.
